The development of greenhouse crops in Iran and the world has been increasingly expanded during the last few decades due to its many advantages, such as the reduction of water consumption. Currently, there are about 20,000 hectares of greenhouses in Iran, of which less than 10% are hydroponic, and the rest are soil based. In hydroponic cultivation, culture medium is used instead of soil. Nearly 15,000 tons of Cocopeat growing medium, which is obtained from coconut waste, are imported annually to Iran from Sri Lanka and India to supply hydroponic growing medium, which causes the foreign currency outflow from the Iran. Extensive studies on the processing of palm tree waste to use it as a growing medium for various plants have been carried out by this company for 15 years, and the favorable results of this research have been published in 40 articles in international journals and national and international conferences.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
